Campaign and exhibition design for Rotterdam Photo ’25. Inspired by the history of Rotterdam as a port city, the festival annually provides photographers with exhibition space in repurposed shipping containers, as well as the public space of Rotterdam city, to bring photography outside the ‘white cube’ tradition. On the festival grounds, giant banners showcase the works of a diverse and international selection of established photographers, while inside the containers, emerging artist exhibit.

This edition, Rotterdam Photo explored the meaning of connection through the lens of contemporary photographers. Through bold and thought-provoking photography, the participating artists question what it really means to be Shared & Connected. The visual identity focuses on the blurring of borders and merging of perspectives. By means of melting-like animations and abstract patterns created by extreme cropping and zooming in on the little details, a dynamic and colorful visual identity was made.
