For over 25 years, Loes Schepens has been researching and creating paper and art from plant fibers. She works in her studio in The Hague, where she transforms this artisanal process into unique works. In Touch is an artist monograph showcasing her large body of work as well as insights into the process and inspirations.

The cover is made of Ecorz, a refined cardboard with 40% recycled fibers and visible tree bark speckles. The cover is embossed and provided with a transparent foil, so that the title In Touch is tactile. For the interior, we chose Emotion touch 1.5 120 g/m² and semi-transparent paper IBO One 60 g/m².

Each book comes with a handmade bookmark made from nettle, cotton, and hemp, botanically dyed with wormwood, yellow chamomile, and walnut. There is also a special edition of 20 copies with a wrap around the cover made of handmade paper.
